Panzervania is a top-down 2D shooter where you play as a tank and find upgrades / new weapons to progress further (Metroidvania with Hotline Miami controls).  Use WASD to move across the map and mouse left-click to shoot projectiles. Upgrade your weapon with U. Press ESC or P to bring up the pause menu. Shoot projectiles at enemy robots to kill them and avoid getting hit!

Different weapons and enemies can destroy different walls, some breakable walls are not obvious.

Week 3

- Created sprites for tileset / player. Added a wall tileset. Added player movement and rotation physics.

- Created a C# script so that the user/tank now points at the user’s mouse.

- Added a camera follow system so the camera smoothly follows the player tank while it moves.

- Added projectile shooting towards mouse on click. Made bullets disappear when hitting walls.

Week 4

- Added two enemy types: one stationary turret that fires at the player and one that wanders until it sees the player and tries to ram into it. Damage and health logic put in place. Added destructible walls.

- Added heal powerup that restores player health by 25 points. Added speed powerup that increases base movement speed by 10%.

- Implemented a health system for both the player tank and enemy turrets, including world space UI health bars that dynamically update when damage is taken.

- Added background music.

Week 5

- Added a basic pause and restart menu by pressing the esc button.

- Added a collectable victory object (temporarily a blue power up sprite) and victory UI screen

- Added a shotgun weapon. Weapons can be changed with 1 and 2.
